NWRD strives to support continuing education for regional nutrition professionals who may need assistance to attend the NWRD Annual Conference. Online Scholarship Application is open: NOV 15 - DEC 31

Online scholarship applications are accepted between November 15 - December 31, 2023.

Please note: Scholarship funds are limited.

Considerations will be made for the applicant's financial need, past award history, meeting attendance plans (1 day versus 2 days), and travel needs from outside the hosting area.

Eligibility Criteria: Must be a practicing Registered Dietitian or Dietetic Technician working with CKD patients:

within the ESRD Network 16 region
-
OR, WA, ID, AK, and MT
-

as part of the NWRD group in Western Canada

Scholarships do not take the place of employer reimbursement. Awards are given to those who are in financial need with very little or no employer support for earning CPEUs. As part of the Scholarship Application, applicants must disclose the employer's reimbursement policy and allotted amounts for CPEU opportunities.

Scholarships are intended to help cover portions of conference-related costs only. Scholarships are not intended to cover the costs of childcare, meals, etc.

Prior to receiving the scholarship check, awardees must register and pay in full prior to the Registration late fee deadline, otherwise, the scholarship will be forfeited.

Scholarship checks will be available for pick-up at the NWRD Conference Registration Table on the day of the event.
